Stockholm and Sweden
elucidation of histories untold

Visit The Stockholm cathedral

a magnificent architectural piece of art

Storkyrkan, losely translated the “The Grand Cathedral”, is the main cathedral of Stockholm. The cathedral is a magnificent architectural art piece, are one of the oldest buildings in Stockholm. Coronations of sovereigns have taken place here and Storkyrkan is still the church of the Swedish Royal family.

The Stockholm Grand Cathedral is a unique still tangible testimony of the eventful history of the Swedish capital. During our tour we will make a time travel, taking off from the The Middle Ages, passing through the turbulent years of  the Protestant Reformation, crossing the Swedish Golden Age until we arrive up to present day

The building itself is an eclectic example of how various architectural styles merge together and create a sense of uniformity.

The influence on the history of Stockholm, combined with the architectural design, makes “The Stockholm Grand Cathedra”l one of the must sees during your stay in Stockholm.
