The ‘Stockholm in 2 days’ itinerary is designed for those planning to visit Stockholm for, say, a weekend or a long weekend, or for those who wish to have a quick but still a comprehensive introduction to the history of the Swedish capital.

The “Stockholm in 2 days” itinerary is intended to spark curiosity and entice you to continued exploration of the Swedish capital while walking on your own. It consists of an introductory walk through the main districts, a scenic boat tour to admire the city from a different perspective and a visit to some of the most interesting and must-see attractions. 

Below you will find the proposed itinerary divided into days. The order of days and visits are interchangeable depending on requirements, wishes and opening/closing times of the attractions.

PROGRAM

DAY ONE

  • a guided walk through the city districts of Stockholm
  • a visit to the covered market, Östermalmshallen;
  • a guided tour of the Grand Cathedral, Storkyrkan;
  • guided tour at the Vasa Museum or The Royal Palace.

DAY TWO

  • a guided tour at the City Hall, Stockholms Stadshus;
  • a metrostation art tour;
  • a panoramic city sightseeing tour by boat (duration 1 h, live guided tour in English).

The itinerary "Stockholm in 2 days" is private: meaning, the guide will be at your exlusive disposal. However, if you would like to share one or more visits with other participants please tick the box  in the form  on this page:and we will try to find other interested travel companions. If so, we will apply a discounted rate; vice versa, we will grant you the private tour at the agreed price.

    Booking, payment and refund

    ONE-DAY TOURS

    To book a one-day tour, you must fill out the form on the respective tour pages. By clicking on a date in the calendar and selecting the desired time, a popup window will open where you can automatically calculate the price, complete the booking, and proceed with secure online payment.

    Payment will be made via debit/credit card. Upon request, payment can also be made via bank transfer: contact us directly at info@stockholmania.tours for more information.

    MULTI-DAY ITINERARIES OR CUSTOM ITINERARIES

    For our two-day or longer itineraries, you will need to send an availability request through the form on the respective pages, filling in the required fields. The form automatically calculates the total price of the package, including all entry fees, transportation, and cruises/ferries (where applicable).

    This request is non-binding and completely free of charge.

    We will respond as soon as possible to confirm our availability or provide alternative solutions if necessary.

    Once availability is confirmed, to finalize the booking of the requested tour or service, a form will be sent to you to fill out with your name, surname, and residential address*.

    Subsequently, an invoice will be sent for a 50% deposit of the agreed amount, to be paid via bank transfer.

    StockholMania Tours commits to holding the requested dates for a maximum of 3 days from sending the availability confirmation and an additional 3 days from sending the invoice for the deposit payment. After these deadlines, StockholMania Tours can no longer guarantee the agreed-upon tour.

    The balance can be paid on the day of the tour or service via credit/debit card or, upon request, via bank transfer.

    TRAVEL AGENCIES AND ORGANIZED GROUPS

    Organized groups and travel agencies must pay an advance of at least 30% via bank transfer at the time of final confirmation of the tour or service. The balance must be paid at least one week before the tour or service.

    CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES

    In the event of unforeseen circumstances that force StockholMania Tours to cancel the agreed program or tour, the entire amount paid will be fully refunded, without any additional charges, to the card used for payment or via bank transfer.

    If the customer cancels the service for any reason, StockholMania Tours will refund:

    – the full amount paid, if the cancellation is made at least 10 days before the tour or service date;
    – half of the amount paid, if the cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the tour or service.

    NO CASH

    StockholMania Tours, in line with the increasingly common practice in Sweden, does not accept cash payments.

    *This information is required for billing purposes, as per Swedish regulations, and will be deleted from all our databases upon completion of the service.
