For many Swedes, Christmas Eve is one of the most magical days of the year. During the Christmas Holidays the dark winter season is finally illuminated and bursting with light, colours, and dreams of a snowy winter. The scent of fresh spruce branches and candied almond spreads across the city, enhancing your senses even while strolling around in the centre of a bustling capital. 

During our guided tour “The sparkling Christmas lights of Stockholm” we will walk along the festively decorated and illuminated streets of the city centre and savour it’s magical setting, just to find ourselves ending up at the traditional Christmas market of Gamla Stan. The perfect location for experiencing the essence of Christmas Holiday traditions.

This tour will give you a unique opportunity to get an insight into the history, monuments and highlights of the Swedish capital in a warm and relaxed way. During the tour we will delve into some of the hidden corners outside the tourist circuits, but above all explore Swedish culture, customs and traditions related to the winter and Christmas period.

“The Sparkling Christmas Lights of Stockholm” tour is available from November to January, both in private mode and as a group tour. For further information, read the sections below!

PRIVATE TOUR

The private tour adresses travelers, families and/or group of friends and can be booked on any date of your choice.  

The guide will be at your exclusive disposal during the the entire tour. Meaning, we will acommodate special requests and adapt the tour to your needs and desired pace. 

GROUP TOUR

 

This tour is only available at specific dates The tour is guaranteed with a minimum of 6 adult participants, plus youth or children, and a maximum of 12 adult participants.

Booking, payment and refund

ONE-DAY TOURS

To book a one-day tour, you must fill out the form on the respective tour pages. By clicking on a date in the calendar and selecting the desired time, a popup window will open where you can automatically calculate the price, complete the booking, and proceed with secure online payment.

Payment will be made via debit/credit card. Upon request, payment can also be made via bank transfer: contact us directly at info@stockholmania.tours for more information.

MULTI-DAY ITINERARIES OR CUSTOM ITINERARIES

For our two-day or longer itineraries, you will need to send an availability request through the form on the respective pages, filling in the required fields. The form automatically calculates the total price of the package, including all entry fees, transportation, and cruises/ferries (where applicable).

This request is non-binding and completely free of charge.

We will respond as soon as possible to confirm our availability or provide alternative solutions if necessary.

Once availability is confirmed, to finalize the booking of the requested tour or service, a form will be sent to you to fill out with your name, surname, and residential address*.

Subsequently, an invoice will be sent for a 50% deposit of the agreed amount, to be paid via bank transfer.

StockholMania Tours commits to holding the requested dates for a maximum of 3 days from sending the availability confirmation and an additional 3 days from sending the invoice for the deposit payment. After these deadlines, StockholMania Tours can no longer guarantee the agreed-upon tour.

The balance can be paid on the day of the tour or service via credit/debit card or, upon request, via bank transfer.

TRAVEL AGENCIES AND ORGANIZED GROUPS

Organized groups and travel agencies must pay an advance of at least 30% via bank transfer at the time of final confirmation of the tour or service. The balance must be paid at least one week before the tour or service.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES

In the event of unforeseen circumstances that force StockholMania Tours to cancel the agreed program or tour, the entire amount paid will be fully refunded, without any additional charges, to the card used for payment or via bank transfer.

If the customer cancels the service for any reason, StockholMania Tours will refund:

– the full amount paid, if the cancellation is made at least 10 days before the tour or service date;
– half of the amount paid, if the cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the tour or service.

NO CASH

StockholMania Tours, in line with the increasingly common practice in Sweden, does not accept cash payments.

*This information is required for billing purposes, as per Swedish regulations, and will be deleted from all our databases upon completion of the service.
